Estate and Trust Planning

Estate planning involves an individual or family arranging for the transfer of assets in anticipation of death. With our help, an estate plan aims to preserve the maximum amount of wealth for the intended beneficiaries.

We prepare the Surrogate’s Court Estate as well as accountings of the trusts for your attorneys. In addition, a major concern for those that are drafting an estate plan is the effect of federal and state estate taxes. Despite the change in the 2001 tax law which called for a complete repeal of the estate tax in 2010, estate tax planning remains critically important until the repeal actually occurs (if it occurs at all).

With our new administration, it is unclear what will happen with the estate tax. However, as the new laws evolve over the next decade, Babaian CPA Associates will be there to help in protecting your assets and passing them on to your loved ones.
